November 29 - December 1, 2013 Hanukkah represents the triumph of faith, trust, and dedication to God as we commemorate the re-dedication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. This was made possible because of a small group of Jewish believers who refused to bow down to Zeus and, by Gods strength, were thus able to defeat the forces of evil in their time! Furthermore, as believers in Messiah, this is also a time where we remember that Jesus Himself has taken back our personal temples from the enemy! Jesus observed this very festival and we should do as Jesus did.
