November 30, 2014. CYCLE-LIFE UPDATER: (for Sunday) 40 minutes to the Waterloo Rec Complex. Homeward bound via the Iron Horse Trail. Decided to continue on to get groceries (60 minutes). Total time in the Brooks saddle: one hour and forty minutes. Slept well. Leafs played well and blasted Washington and Mr. Ovechkin; 6-2. Slept later than usual. Rushed to get out but then settled into a steady spin. Plus eight degrees; dressed with far too many layers. Early on, removed the face-head warmer. Soon after, the gloves. Brought along the camera to get pictures of Randy Saszs old home. Can shots be taken safely while riding? Yes. Now have a system. Can do it all with the right hand. From the right-hand-jacket-pocket slip on the wrist strap. Push the start button. In .76 seconds , the camera is ready. Shoot. Can hold the camera in-the-hand and between-shooting rest on the right-hand-grip. Slow the pedal rate and quick-look the viewfinder. Click. There are some blurry shots. Delete-simple. S-s-s-Fury and Clik appear good together. Veteran faces less-fit-thought-retiring Brent Meidinger, Darryl Blackport , and Kyle Dekker appeared wisp-like through the ether. Welcome. Tom Lokody is also back. Jenna was the lone attending female. No problem. In the park, Running HOH; most wearing shorts and t-shirts. Felt much like spring. Meandering after the workout taking pictures. Met Darryls parents just finishing their bike ride and visiting with Andrew Belangers mom. Great coincidence-conversation. See the pics.
