November is a month of when we give extra thanks to the good Lord for everything we have. Appropriately Veterans Day falls in this month. Please take the opportunity provided by tomorrows holiday to thank all veterans, enlisted men and women for the sacrifices they have made to provide us all with the freedoms we enjoy today. My grandmother told me the story on several occasions of the time my father came home and told her he wanted to fight in the Great War and had joined the service. The very next day she waved goodby as he left on a train. Many men and women, then and throughout the years have answered the call to serve their country. I thank them all. I do believe the day is coming when it will be necessary for many to once again step to the plate to protect us all. Please feel free to share stories of those who served our country.
