The artwork created through Glassometry Studios requires a complex set of skills for its completion thus, individuals should be engaged by expanding upon their present knowledge and motivated to learn and perform new processes. Production at the studio includes a hot glass production line, Fine art hot sculpture/blown glass, lighting, as well as kilnformed glass, both architectural and sculptural, custom indoor and outdoor finart metal/glass sculpture. The studio also facilitates a fair amount of classes and community activities. Also seeking individuals with management, sales, marketing, retail, graphic design, teaching, cad programming, and metal fabrication experience. The studio resides in an 8500 sq ft space and is located in beautiful Hood River, OR, a gorgeous recreation and fruit/wine destination in the Columbia River Gorge. Gaffer (Offhand Glassblowing) for production, large scale sculptural team work, community glassblowing/classes.
