Now I dont normally complain, but tonight reached a new level of rudeness from my tour group - and it taught me a lot about what really pushes my buttons. Why does someone come on a tour when they spend their whole time on their mobile phone? Or if you are a total skeptic to the point where you are aggressive towards the guide and stand there with a look of contempt and arms folded would you even bother? I am sure you didnt have to come on the tour...Surely you had a choice to say no right?.Is it a fear of being challenged with information that you are not comfortable with? Maybe...but there is no need to be so rude that you talk throughout the tour so that I have to talk over you. Tonight was not fun - not at all. And I became slightly defensive which I should not have done. Oh well, I have no problem with being challenged - I do have a problem with being treated like I am an idiot. Grrrrrr - give me coffee!!!
