Now I dont want to go into a speech. But us metal musicians always get some kind of bad wrap. But growing up being exposed to certain underground musicians, in my opinion, I found some of the most open minded people exist in the metal underground. Close minded too, but as far as music genres go, most of us listen to everything and are open to a lot of styles...Genesis, to the Beatles, to classical, to Rush, Iron Maiden, Depeche Mode, to industrial, electronic, to Tom Waits and all around. That is If its good writing of course. Ha. Doesnt matter if its screaming, or delicate vocal notes backed by violins, or even an Orchestra mixed with a death growl. Good writing is good writing. This is a cover of a SEAL song from my good metal friend Markus out in Germany. Fantastic. Amazing guitar player, music engineer, great piano player, metal heart. Ha.
