Now I want to share with you some of the things I have learned to do in preparation for a hurricane. I have put my PASSPORT, MY JEWELLERY (the valuable stuff not much), MEDICINES, DETTOL, BANDAIDS, MY ADDRESS BOOK , KEYS , in 2 small plastic bags making it strong and water proof (ILL ADD TO THIS LIST). Now I have brought into the house all of the following - TARPAULIN, NAILS, HAMMER, SKILL SAW, SMALL PIECES OF WOOD , (yes I know the house looks like my shed) smile, ROPE, BUCKETS, WHITE SAND ( there is a pile of white sand under a nice patch of green grass in my yard - spread it to dry and bring that in the house in case of fire - BUCKETS. PLENTY OF WATER ..........SHUCKS I HAVE EVEN FILLED MY WASTE PAPER BASKETS ................AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE HAVE LOTS OF BLEACH IN THE HOUSE. You CANNOT flush the toilet like you normally do....... so pour bleach IN THE TOILET IT KEEPS THE SMELL DOWN........and stop acting as though your _______ dont stink! LOL LOL
