Now, I was born in the 50s, raised in the 60s, and came of age in the 70s. So I appreciate greatly the music of James Taylor. But he has his place, and this is not where it is. So now we choose not to send a top-level leader to an important ally in the face of a major terror attack while the rest of the world does just that. So what is our response to that? We admit we made a mistake, and have James Taylor deliver a lethargic rendition of a decades old folk tune to let them know were still their friends. Way to show solidarity. Ive never seen such a weak response to a frightening level of events. No excuse, no justification for this.
