Now Ive gone and done it. I wrote to my Representative. I was at the gym in the sauna and overheard three young military men talking about their injuries. One guy said he had been deployed and couldnt get an MRI. He arrived in Hawaii but the waiting list was so long he couldnt get one there. He got back to San Diego and said it was a six month wait for an MRI. They all laughed because they had all been told to walk off their injuries. Im fortunate I have good insurance and I can get an MRI almost immediately. I think men and women who are sent to violent places in the name of our government should have health care better than mine. I would doubt that theres a single person who would disagree with me. Yet, the House of Representatives is busy preparing a lawsuit against the President at our expense. Really? We can do better than this, cant we?
