Now, NaMo anti-virus to protect PCs Indian IT firm Innovazion has named its new antivirus software NaMo in the honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The company said that NaMo software will provide free protection to PC users against malware and virus attacks. It added that the current version of the software provides basic protection but the advanced versions of the software will protect the PCs against several kinds of virus and malware attacks. The current software, however, will keep on receiving regular updates. Innovazion CEO Abhishek Gagneja that India ranks third globally in terms of Internet users but only 13 per cent people in India are using valid license of antivirus software. He added that around 30 per cent users re-install trial versions of same or other antivirus software. Around 57 per cent systems either lack protection against virus or are using unknown applications for protection of their devices and NaMo AV will prove helpful for these people. Gagneja, however, added that his party is not associated to the BJP. By building this software, we wanted to ... congratulate the current government. We also want to pass a message to the government that the nation has high expectations from them, he said. Innovazion was founded in 2007 and currently it has presence in seven countries including India, the US, the UK, Germany, Canada, Romania, China and Singapore. The company employs over 500 employees.
