Now a post many will NOT like and i waited an d thought about it long and hard,BUT will no longer watch families in the community being taken advantage of. While I have called out several fundraisers as fraudulent in the past,there are many,who cannot be described as such. They are legitimate fundraisers,BUT MORALLY FRAUDULENT as I would describe it.There is a difference between financially struggling due to non preventable circumstances e.g. a family members health issues and related costs/death.It is a completely different story,when you fundraise for something that you voluntarily do and actively seek to put yourself into that situation.Especially having received thousands of $ not too long ago with no plausible explanation where the money went (and i mean plausible as in believable as in HEY I GOT BRAINS GIVE ME SOME CREDIT HERE). When i see families donate to this cause,who are themselves struggling it just upsets me.Seeing a mom donate whose CHDer has been in the hospital for quite a while honestly hurts me. Then on the other hand seeing a family with 5 children go without home and receiving NO HELP,while this other mom HOARDS donations (we are talking so far she has received donations to the tune of $5000+ and is asking for another $6000,with the previous $5000 having disappeared since whjat she fundraised for never happened)-it is ridiculous. So to be extremely blunt now: I have pushed the fundraiser for levi,having been told that if he wasnt adopted nobody would want him (turned out-not true) then I was told it wouldnt happen because a family member would take him (turns out- not true,another family adopted him) So this family has 2 small special needs children that they adopted and they been in and out the hospital and now they actively seeked to adopt another one,who could easily go to another family.A very honorable act,IF they didnt expect everyone else to pay for it.Obviously they are already overwhelmesd.obviously the $5000+ previously raised disappeared into thin air,obviously asking for another $6000 from a piss poor community and accepting donations from families who are struggling themselves,might be l\egitimate,yes,but in my opinion is ABSOLUTELY MORALLY WRONG!
