Now back to some goings on this afternoon....a good result from police responding to information from the public that three male juveniles were seen climbing the side fence of a home in Armadale Road, Rivervale. Belmont LPT and Kensington LPT attended and disturbed the offenders attempting to jemmy open a rear window to the home. At this point the three offenders took off and began jumping fences in a poor attempt to avoid capture...police then established a cordon of the area, sent in the K9 and as a result two offenders that decided they did not like dogs too much tried to extract themselves from the cordon but were arrested. The third POI did initially manage to escape the cordon but was located a short distance away. All three were conveyed to the Belmont Police Station where the they were charged for Attempted Aggravated Burglary All three are now spending tonight in custody and will head to court in the morning.
