Now comes the holy month of Ramadan! My favourite time of the year. First of all we should thank Almighty Allah for giving us the opportunity to observe such a blessed month of fasting, pray for the entire Muslim Ummah and also for the departed souls. Secondly I kindly advice my brothers and sisters in Islam to take this Ramadan as an opportunity to start praying 5 times a day which is THE MOST BASIC AND MOST IMPORTANT way of worshipping Allah SWT. Praying 5 times doesnt make you religious it only makes you a Muslim. Just start with Salah and In Sha Allah the rest will come in good time :). May Allah make it easier for us to fast the entire month, remove hardships from our lives, make us give up some of our bad habits and make us better Muslims Ameen.
