Now down to 8 days before the big move...again. So tired of these short chapters in our book of life, we need some Robert Jordan style chapters instead of James Patterson style chapters in our life. I am finding it hard to sleep as now we are selling a house on the West coast and buying a house in Texas with a rush put on it so we dont have to store our household items. Unfortunately, the TX people we are dealing with, and there are several of them, do not really understand the time change and phone calls at 8:30 translate to 6:30 in the morning for me. Makes for a short night as I review documents, etc late and wake up every half hour early...uggghhh! At least it is getting closer till I can see my wife and dogs again, but a very bittersweet departure as I will miss my mom, sister and nieces a whole lot. Even leaving my job was tough since it was the place I worked for before I moved to TX the first time 14 years ago and they welcomed me back with open arms and through me right in as if I never left and had all of their confidence that I would just continue doing the good job I had back then...I am thankful that I will always have a job here if I ever need it.
