“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1 What exactly is faith? The best definition of faith we can find is the one given to us in Hebrews 11:1, faith is the substance of things hoped for, meaning, faith is the tangibility of intangibilities, that is, making real what is not real. Is it really possible to bring some intangible into reality? Emphatically yes, but it is obvious that it will require an ability to get that done; that ability is called faith. We have that ability because God installed it in our spirit, “But the fruit of the spirit is … faith…” (Galatians 5:22-23). Faith is the ability to believe the word of God, which is our reality, and the aftermath of believing God’s word is talking God’s word. Faith is believing the reality of God’s word over every other reality. After getting a revelation of faith like this, it then becomes a greater joy when you know that you possess it. “Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”(ref). we have obtained, we are not going to, it is a present hour possession; halleluiah! SAY THIS: I’ve got faith, it’s in my spirit, I’ve overcome the world; that’s who I am, I am more than a conqueror, I am a personality of faith, therefore I am bold and I take the world, it is mine!
