Now, football has become like a good dream I used to see myself in...one game in interval of months, punctuated with series of reasons not to play. The scary reality that I now go for weeks without the urge to play is what I never knew could happen. And recently , a fellow asked if these legs of mine ever kicked the round leather. I knew what he meant. He wanted to see me do soccer. I was amused as well as shocked by his argument. But I know where I come from, I still miss the team. Memories of Captain Demo revives my confidence, Alo reminds me of a small, magical striker that scales hefty defenders, Cassilas was the backbone, Sachi was too skillful and loved to dribble, Ngwuta fears to score with feet ,always flying , Osco loves matches ,Theo does not play to score but to do long passes, Slypers got excess dribble like Ogwudu Adam, Arinze was one of the best I have played with, Bright had surplus of energy, never getting tired, Titi was a distributor...et ce tera .My little self was the engine room, even with feminine strength. I hope we get together someday to do some beautiful football. And I hope that soonest, I get back to my dear habit. More games. Xmas games will be a good comeback. #born_to_be_a_midfielder#
