Now for anyone who read my post, got offended .... heres the reality. In my life, there have been hopes and dreams. You know, going to Kenya - CHECK! Being a teacher - CHECK! Being a wife..... :( Being a mommy..... :( And maybe, just maybe partially watching videos (I was watching Private Practice when that post came from my fingers) helps me reconcile that I am not a mommy. It is painful! Not only the pushing and labor part but the 18 years of pushing and labor too. Dont be offended because you are not a mommy and it is your deepest hearts desire. It has been my deepest hearts desire my whole life! And what hurts more than the thought of labor and delivery is never having a labor day. So.... to all you mommies who may or may not have been offended by my post. I am jealous. There I admitted it! That you survived it, that you have a baby from it...that you get to do the 60+ years of hard parenting labor with these kids. YOU are blessed and dont you EVER forget it!! :D There are some who still dont have what you get to enjoy every day and we are jealous! YeS, we are!!
