Now for some macro-level blabberings on IndiaChina and neighbours. i would like to make available to the non-super-specialized public, a broad and neutral overview of the justice delivery mechanisms of India (and other commonwealth systems nations), and of China. ...so, for example, a look at how the Chinese, within their judicial system, separate the functions of adjudication and of interpreting the law, and lessons to be learnt (or at least, levles of acceptance to be arrived at), especially in comparison to the dangers of judicial activism in other countries. Similarly, a look at how judges are appointed in India, room for improvement therein, and lessons that countries like China can learn from this, and incorporate into all their systems of adjudication as well as of interpreting the law. Alongside, a comparative analysis of the local-level justice delivery mechanisms. Some intellectual type of television channels in India could take the lead for this macro picture of India and its neighbours, perhaps? And, of course, think-tanks of political parties in all countries. :)
