For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say , Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon A WOMAN WITH CHILD; and they shall not escape . But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us W A T C H and be sober. Henceforth the commanding word to watch is quite something for many have used this word to describe paying attention to his leading inwardly; for as the holy ghost pricks our hearts to be in prayer and intercede for others this “WATCHING” IS an attribute of H I S anointing therefore watch the people in your life and consider who needs CHRIST-- obeying “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.” “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what W A T C H the thief would come , he would have W A T C H E D, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up . Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh “Matthew 25:13 KJV “W A T C H therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh” AND AGAIN LISTEN TO MARK’S GOSPEL-“ But of that day andthat hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed , WATCH and pray : for ye know not when the time is . For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to W A T C H . W A T C H ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping . And what I say unto you I say unto all, WATCH.” A N D A G A I N IN L U K E “ And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh , they may open unto him immediately. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find WATCHING : verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself , and make them to sit down to meat , and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second WATCH, or come in the third W A T C H, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And this know , that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come , he would have watched , and not have suffered his house to be broken through .” “Be in pain , and labour to bring forth , O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail : for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered ; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.” “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a WOMAN clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, TRAVAILING IN BIRTH, AND PAIN TO BE DELIVERED” “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.”
