Now, heres a very interesting one for your Saturday entertainment. While the whole Facebook is very serious about GEJ vs Buhari, me I just feel I should be showing you some other more exciting sides of life especially in Nigeria. Now this one is particularly interesting bcos I can remember Ive done this many times too. I grew up in a background where we spoke in tongues (real power-packed xenoglossy, not fake ones oooo) to birds & I also continued the show into which I was indoctrinated. Of course, that was b4 now. So I can actually identify with the people in this video. Having watched this video several times, I came up with these questions 1. Instead of showing their supernatural power by speaking in tongues to an innocent stray owl, why couldnt they show this power of God by marching to Sambisa forest & speaking in tongues against Boko Haram soldiers? Im sure the Nigerian Military would be very pleased & I also think Boko Haram is a bigger problem to us than owls 2. Why did they use petrol & fire? I would think the power that struck the bird dead should be sufficient to also spark fire on the bird on its own. 3. I thought evil spirits were non-physical. How then would would a physical entity like an owl carry non-physical entities like spirits & how petrol & fire which are physical entities destroy evil spirits that are non-physical? (Sorry. The answer to that is that the Bible fully supports that concept). 4. Have their lives changed for any better now that theyve burnt the bird? 5. When we told them that bats could harbour Ebola, they dismissed it as nonsense. They said its impossible & continued eating them. But how someone who doesnt believe that bats (physical) could harbour a virus (physical) ends up believing that owls (physical) could harbour evil spirits (non-physical) baffles me. I can continue on & on but when I look at my childhood now, I feel sorry for myself. Religious beliefs may not necessarily make you ignorant but when they combine with ignorance in your mind, they augment it exponentially turning your mind to a completely dark room!— Peter Adeosun Keyz (2014) P.S.
