Now heres something I did not expect to happen today! This was my first day free from work and the show Ive been editing in a long time. I thought I would have a great relaxing day at home but I ended feeling really depressed and anxious (it happens to me a lot). I went out for a bike ride and some bad comfort food, in this case McDonalds, and on my way back I was stopped by two appropriately dressed dudes who struck a conversations with me. Turns out they were Mormon missionaries, one from Hong Kong the other from Utah. Immediately I got really excited because it was one of those Ohhh Ive seen you in movies! type of moments. Understand, Im not from the US and this is how I used to react to things like this as a kid and when I first came here. Like when I heard a Southern accent for the first time yall! Of course I had to talk to them about Lindsey Stirling (shes Mormon too) and when they asked if they could have my number so their Sisters could talk to me about Mormonism and stuff I actually said yeah. That should be interesting! Im all for having conversations outside my norm. Heh, but anyways, it totally cheered me up and now I have irregular conversation to look forward to.
