Now, if you are at all curious about space travel, you may remember that Apollo 8 was the first to orbit the moon (landing did not occur until Apollo 11.) The iconic photograph of the Earthrise is one that should be familiar to us all. NASAs Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter released this video showing how they lucked across the scene and scrambled to put color film into their Hasselblad 500 to capture the images.
