Now in Bloemfontein Please Go And have a look at BrandbachWarmblood Group And Equmovement Page. My aim is to teach the rider to sit on the horse and motivate it to move forward freely with as little effort as possible in a manner that would be comfortable for the horse, whilst addressing the natural skewness of horse and rider. The focus is entirely on the riders’ seat and the lessons are therefore applicable to all riders. Private lessons are suitable for horse and rider partnerships at all levels, from the weekend rider who wants to enjoy a pleasant hack, a competitive rider in dressage, eventing, endurance or show-jumping rider, whose success depends on their ability to effectively balance and influence their horse. The rider will experience work on foot and riding. Riding is an art of uniting and connecting with the horse physically, mentally and spiritually in an attitude of soft, controlled energy and mutual co-operation and understanding. A balanced rider is an effective rider and has a confident and happy athletic horse. “Ride in Balance” lessons give you the key to complete control and harmony with your horse, creating a partnership that will lead you to success in your chosen discipline. To find true harmony with our horse we need to be able to communicate our wishes to our horses in a way that they understand and find acceptable thereby creating relaxation, confidence and trust. We should strive to do this with the minimum of strength and the maximum of skill. Unfortunately, many riders are unable to do this because of their lack of body control. This means that the riders are constantly giving the horse information that they do not really mean, with the result that the horse is confused, trying to identify between an instruction that was meant for the horse and one that had to do with the rider’s lack of balance and skill. This technique will help you to communicate in a more subtle and peaceful way with your horse by teaching you the skills of precision body influence in the communication between you and your horse. Are your circles pear shaped? Does your horse fall in/out, not bend or bend too much, lose rhythm or activity? Do you collapse at the waist or hip, feel crooked, find it difficult to ride from the inside leg to the outside rein or ride better on one rein than the other? Come and test the technique! Individual lessons for you and your horse, combining lessons on and off your horse will be an ideal starting point for you to begin learning the “ride in balance” method. It give you time to understand, feel and experience how to let go and move in harmony with your horse’s movement. Testing rider’s positions. Instead of just believing what you’re told. Test it on your own horse in your own environment in Afrikaans or English!
