Now is the time to tidy up the loose ends, talk to the people who matter, and prepare for the next new moon. We are in a waning moon period, the time when the moon is gradually dying. Waning moon cycles may not be the best times for starting new projects, but they are a fabulous time to clear up the unfinished details of plans already in motion, and shed any fear or doubt that may be the residual effects of last weeks soul searching. In North African Saharan countries, the waning moon cycle is an important time in the hammam, the bathhouse, as it is traditional to cleanse and exfoliate the body rigorously, sloughing away dead skin in preparation for the new moon cycle. In addition to letting go, there is also a wonderful aspect between the moon, Jupiter, Uranus and Venus which encourages us to communicate with those past and present who are important for our future direction. Whoever has been dominating your thoughts over the past few days - get in touch. This is the time to communicate your ideas, and work on where you are going. We have only a few weeks left of Mercury retrograde, of the quiet lull. On November 8 the wheel will turn - and we will be catapulted forward. So now is your time to decide where you will land. And, of course, since there is a shortage of the hammams pictured here in Australia, to treat yourself to a full body scrub in your own shower. Even better, take an early morning swim in the sea, and plan whilst gazing at the horizon. Dream big, then make them come true.
