How is it possible? In his eagerness to win victory for the Lord and his people, the king fall in the temptation to bring into idolatry and apostasy of the people. It is possible to defeat land and kingdoms under the name of the Lord, while simultaneously allowing for the powers of darkness. Have we all an honest agenda, have we all our heart toward Jesus, or do we open up unconsciously to other gods without knowing / thinking about it. Like so many others, I want to live pure and holy for the Lord. I often pray I may keep a humble heart, I ask Jesus to show me the sin in my life, so I can do something about it, and then I ask Jesus to show me the way with him.
