Now, many people head straight to the treadmills or elliptical and bikes first thing when they get into the gym. Their goal may be to lose weight and burn fat. This is cool and all, but they aren’t working out effectively! I’ve heard from people that they skip the weight section of the gym because they don’t know how to use the machines, feel intimidated, or feel that people are looking at them. I’ll get to that another time… lol The problem is that these people, however long they are doing cardio, they are burning mostly sugars and few to none of fat! At the same time this is fine if burning fat isn’t the main concern or goal.
