Now often I find older generations criticizing their successors and bragging on how their generation is better than those that came after them. I even find myself doing it at times to younger generations as if my generation lacks flaws and havent made any mistakes. My question is: why is it such a divide between generations of people and their successors? Why do we belittle the generations after us in an effort to uplift our own?
