Now, our life would be pretty tough without hope! Alexander Pope (1688--1744) once said that "Hope Springs Eternal," and indeed it does for the children of our Heavenly Father. After all God provides our hope for it is written; For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.( 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 ) And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.(Romans 5:5 )
