Now that #Bono has released an apology, or the closest you will likely get, I am curious what everyone thinks about his album being on the phone. I downloaded it free, didnt care one way or the other. I do however see why one could feel that its invasive, but is this an act of no good deed goes unpunished, marketing gone bad, or was it just too pushy for you? Please be civil, but I would like to hear your thoughts. As an artist, I understand the desire to think outside the box, and there are far worse things than free music on your phone, but I also wonder how he would feel if every author or musician etc put their work on his phone. If apple came to me with that offer, I would have done it in a heartbeat thinking it was a gift/promo and thats win win.
