Now that Christmas is over, a few words on my little preholiday snit fit. First of all I was wrong to let the hate get to me. And thats exactly what happened. Just too many months of listening to our President being blamed for everything , whether it happened or not , and even if it did no proof that he had anything to do with it. And the constant race baiting by the other side which if answered then leads to being accused of playing the old tired race card ourselves. It makes me wonder if our political opponents lack introspection or are just extremely disingenuous. I know this message will be met with the old denials but in their condemnation of me last week post unfriending one of my former and as it happen present friends again tipped her hand in a major way. How you say , well simply by her language. In dcrying my undenied admiration for our present chief executive she used some rather unique language which under closer inspection can tell us a lot as to motive. How you ask simply this , in criticizing me she used the term Obama loving several times, as in Obama -lover. Now I have often stated my support for him but never said I loved him. I have been a support of many liberal candidates but was never called a Clinton lover or Kerry lover. No this was very Obama specific language and of course was a play on the on old racial epithet nigger lover. You get the mind picture without having to use the word. Now had she heard one of her hate spewing radio favorites used this term and jjust lacked the historical education to understand its significance or was their something more insidious in her choice of words. Id like to think sentimentally the former was true, but either way I think you see why I get a little upset at times.
