Now that I am 65 years and one day old I want to once more thank - TopicsExpress

Now that I am 65 years and one day old I want to once more thank everyone for their warm Facebook birthday wishes yesterday - A 65th birthday is a major milestone in life because of all the ways that society marks the occasion - formal retirement age, full Social Security age, and Medicare age (not to mention with cheaper haircuts and cheaper baked goods at the bread store on Wednesdays) - You really know youve become a senior when you hit 65. Facebook is at its best on an occasion like this, when one looks back on everything that has gone before and sees all of the great folks who have populated all of the stages of ones life and who are still there with you on Facebook at this major marker in life. As I said three days ago on Medicare Day its a dubious feeling, the number is a bit scary but the main thing is Jackie and I are both healthy, happy, and comfortable and thats all you can ask for at this point. Although I had to laugh yesterday when my cousin Judee Spagnola (who I reconnected with not too long ago via Facebook) called me to wish me a happy birthday and said I could certainly be happy about a lot more -- Like doing my radio show on the internet radio station where I am now where everyone from management on down is friendly and pleasant and I do not have to face rudeness and disrespect if I should happen to go 30 seconds (or more) over my scheduled time LOLOL!!! She really cracked me up when she said that, had to throw that in. Anyway, thanks so much to you all for your kind and warm wishes, they made this special reflective day so much more special. Thanks also for your friendship over the years, however many it may be. See you all on Facebook, or on Ride Radio, or around Florida!
