Now that I can look back on yesterday, I can see even more clearly - TopicsExpress

Now that I can look back on yesterday, I can see even more clearly the providence of God. My Mom died sometime Thursday night. Shed been struggling with her health, but we had no reason to suspect that death was imminent. I had planned to arrive via flight at around 11:00 Seattle time Friday and take the Shuttle out to Moms which would have put me here at around noon. Planned to spend the day catching up and packing for a surprise trip to the ocean with her and my Sister. Had my flight not been delayed for four hours I would have arrived at Moms at noon or so. Meanwhile, I asked my Sister to let Mom know of my delayed status, so Sis stopped by Moms at around noon. My Sister is MUCH better at handling things properly than I am. By the time I got here. ( around four ), Vicki had calmly handled all immediate matters related to finding out that our Mom was no longer with us and had perfectly arranged for me to be informed in the most loving, kind, and professional way, void of any extra drama or lack of respect. Had I gotten here at noon and been the one to find Mom, Im sure my reaction would not have been as level headed. Vicki Koehl, I adore you big Sis. We ll get through this. God is already in control. Thank you for how you held up and orchestrated things for my arrival.
