Now that I have had two naps a good meal and and a little time to reflect on the county fair last week, I am amazed at the number of leaders, parents and youth who volunteered so much time and skill which helped make the county fair such a success. To Jan and her crew, the commissioners and contractors who made improvements to the fairgrounds. To the auctioneers, auction committee, buyers and supporters of the auction. We sold more animals in less time than last year. It is incredible to think about the amount of support we continue to receive from this community. The buyers financial support validates in a very real way how much this community believes in the 4-H and FFA programs and the youth who participate. It is said that people do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things. I believe that this is exactly what happened this week.
