Now that Im into daily fantasy basketball, I have a few things to say about real basketball: 1-5. People need to calm down about the Cavs. Barring injury (for both teams) it will be the Cavs vs. Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals. 6. Kevin Love is not going to LA. Hes going to find out that winning is a lot more fun than scoring 8 more points a game for a shitty team. Also, its the West, and with the Rockets, Blazers, Warriors, and Suns (and Kings?) coming up LA is not going to win anytime soon. 7. Kyrie Irving is going to become a LEGIT point guard. Everyone was up in arms over the assist totals of Kyrie during the first 4 games of the season. Last two games hes dished out 14 assists. And they have been some pretty passes too. LeBron will be the main facilitator on the Cavs and Kyrie will be the biggest benefactor. 8. Anthony Davis will win MVP - The Cavs could make the playoffs without LeBron this year, and the Pelicans could miss the playoffs even with Davis having a monster year but I dont care. His stat lines are Wilt Chamberlain-like, people are embracing the unibrow, and goddamn he is just fun to watch. 9. If the Bulls stay healthy, they will win the East - The Cavs have a better offense, but not much better than the Bulls. The Bulls have a deeper bench and play much better defense. The two issues for the Bulls are health and their propensity to give away leads in the 4th quarter. 10. These predictions will most likely change by December.
