Now that Ive gotten an good nights sleep and can think clearly, I would like to thank all of you that came out to Serendipity Catering and Cafe last night. David and I are very humbled by your support. We were receiving phone reservations up until 2pm Friday and even had to turn some guests around at the door (Im sill in awe). THIS was the vision that I had when I retired to take on this venture. Special thanks to my BFF Barbara Davis who took time out of her schedule to be my hostess for the evening, Saxophonist Dwayne Johnson and Soul Food Jazz for Rocking the house, Jeffrey Guillaume and the crew for letting your words flow, Collette Jones, my Mistress of Ceremony who went above and beyond the call of duty, Jamie Sanders and Esau Green, vocalists extraordinaire and The Dip Crew (Kitchen and Front End), some were new to the experience but came in and assisted after a few necessary staff changes. I would also be remiss if I didnt thanks some of my requlars who no matter what the event, they come out to show love: Angela Burkett (and Mr. D), Annette West and Dorethea Hagans...we appreciate you!
