Now that the FG has succumbed and confessed that the economy is is not in good shape, perhaps its time to start give those of us who have been hoarse from shouting that the country should diversify from oil to a more prosperous non oil based economy as the only way out of the doldrum we are in now. Nigerias potential in the non oil export is tremendous and exponential if properly harnessed for the good of the people. Agriculture, mineral resources, manufacturing are some of those non oil potentials. As a first step the FG needs to show remorse by creating a true conducive environment, with power as the main point then leave the rest for entrepreneurs and watch development happen to the country. Oil economy is no more trendy and that leaves us behind many of our peers. We will from this point begin a series of advocacy on the promotion of non oil export and its potentials in Nigeria.
