Now that the US and EU managed to install tough sanctions against Russias energy and financing sector, the road is fully open for the American and European oil- and gas companies to rake in the profit of the shock doctrine. Royal Dutch Shell and Chevron Corp. closed extensive deals for the drilling of shale-gas with the former Ukrainian government last year. They now depend on the current government and NATO-backed military to take full control of the area. In the mean time the people in Ukraine have nothing to say about the way their land is being sold. And nobody in the west is raising an eyebrow...
