Now that the cat is out of the bag at work, I can post it on here. As of August 30 I will no longer be working for Disney (unless I can figure out how to stay CT). I have accepted a position with Volunteers for Community Impact, a nonprofit organization that serves the counties of Central Florida. I will be the volunteer coordinator for the volunteer programs in Osceola county beginning on September 2. Obviously the decision to leave Disney after 7.5 years was a difficult one, but Shannon and I both agree that this opportunity is what I have been working towards over the last couple of years and it was the right time for the change. I am very excited about this next step in my life, and I hope that if youre a senior 55+ and live in one of the five Central Florida counties youll visit the website for my organization and consider volunteering, especially if youre in Osecola County! I will miss seeing and talking to all of my friends Ive made a long the way, but I hope that through FB/e-mail or seeing each other we will all remain in touch. :)
