Now that the dust has settled and the Tuscaloosa Suicide Hotline - TopicsExpress

Now that the dust has settled and the Tuscaloosa Suicide Hotline staff has been told to Stand Down, I have a couple of observations about Saturdays game. I know you folks always look to me for these things, so here goes. 1. Only one of my Facebook friends was a sore loser about the game. I laughed it off and didnt respond, because they really are my friend and I didnt want that to end over a ball game. I tip my hat to the rest of you. 2. The people who want to take the time to photoshop pictures or start petitions about the game, have a lot more time on their hands than I do. You guys need a hobby or a job, either one. 3. The people who have threatened Cade Foster or any other player disgust me. That guy is 22 years old. He tried his best. He messed up. That is part of competition. Leave him and other players alone. If you cannot back a guy, that is on YOUR FAVORITE TEAM, when he is down, you are more a fan of yourself than you are of any team. 4. And this is just a personal thing, I cannot get enough of the Rod Bramblett return call. Forgive me for liking it so many times (and probably clogging your newsfeed) but it is awesome. I remember some of those classic Jim Fyffe and Larry Munson (google those guys if you dont know who they are, you will enjoy their work). I know I am dating myself here but I remember when there were as few as 3 or 4 games broadcast on tv on a given WEEK during football season. Now there are 3 or 4 on at a time. Maybe less is more... thanks for taking the time to read all this!
