Now that the dust has settled on another successful Australian Championship, Dirt Modifieds Australia would like to say a very sincere thankyou to everybody who made this years event a huge success. To Jeff Drew and the Drew Families, and all of the staff at Avalon, thankyou for your support of V8 Dirt Modifieds and the Australian Championship. Your co-operation over the course of the weekend was much appreciated and certainly made out job much easier. To the Victorian V8 Dirt Modified Association, thankyou for the efforts your members put in over the Championship weekend. The Calcutta was a great success and the Championship could not have happened without the support of your dedicated club members. To the sponsors who contributed to the various awards over the weekend, Morse Power, Jim Fowler, Oval Express Magazine, Speedway Australia, SVMtv, American Tire and Racing Services and Zoom Xtreme Photography, thankyou for helping add some bling to our Australian Championship. To the stewarding team and all of the officials and behind-the-scenes helpers, thankyou for helping to make the Championship a huge success. The Australian Championship is a team effort and everybody who helped out before, during and after the event contributed to its success. To the drivers who competed in the Australian Championship, thankyou for continuing to support V8 Dirt Modifieds. Whether you travelled from just up the road, from Brisbane, or Perth, we appreciate the efforts you made to compete and to showcase our great division.
