Now that the legislative issues are not at the forefront of our concerns, I hope all the case managers, whose families and participants fought for them, that they (case managers) will in turn, fight for us as the Division rolls out the new Waivers. The Waivers should be a support to families, not a hassle. I feel like the Waivers are being complicated so families and/or providers get fed up and walk away. Its much easier for a provider to walk away and seek employment elsewhere... its not so easy for families to just walk away when they need the support.
