Now that were a good few weeks into term, DUTBS is going to be doing a club equipment order! If youve been considering whether or not to take the plunge and splash out (pun very much intended) on some shiny new thai boxing gear, now is a brilliant time. The club has a trade account with the online retailer Blitz Sport, which means we can offer equipment to you at discounted prices! If you only buy one item, Id seriously recommend a pair of 180 handwraps, at roughly £2.50 theyre cheap, rugged and do a brilliant job of protecting your wrists for big hooks, uppercuts etc. For those wanting to buy more gear, Blitz offer a range of products at varying prices, my advice would be to spend the extra money for quality stuff, itll last the distance :) Im suggesting Sunday 23rd November as the deadline to get orders in by. My co-treasurers Sean, Ali and I will be hovering around after training sessions over the next week, laptop in hand waiting to take orders.
