Now that were home I can explain a little better... Aubreys CatScan basically shows her left sinus cavity is approximately 90% blocked. Which means her sinuses are only draining outta 1 cavity which means shes also breathing outta one nostril. In order to giver her some relief and improve how her sinuses drain both her ENT and her Infecious Disease Specialist are in agreement that in addition to having tubes put back in on Friday they are gonna enlarge the opening to her sinus cavity. The recovery time should be the same but we wont know how she will respond til surgery is completed. We have an additional appointment with her ENT Wednesday morning so he can review the catscan prior to surgery. Thank you everyone who has called/text me.
