Now thats a review! 6 hour of wild flowers,waterfalls and wonder” Our guide Mike clearly has 3 true loves: his wife, music and the smokey mountains. One of my kids called him the Lorax. With great hearted-ness and awe he spent 6 hours with us walking, teaching and sharing why the wilderness must be respected and preserved. He taught us relationships between the back and front country and tied world history into what we were seeing on the trail. We didnt notice the rain. We heard the birds, tasted the trees and slipped through the mud with smiles. Mike took us on a trail visited by local folks and so we had the woods to ourselves. I highly recommend this guide group. A day that I thought would be about plowing through miles of scenery became a day savoring the beauty of every little thing.
