The Word of God tells us that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). Because of the complete and perfect work of our precious Lord Jesus, not only has our salvation been secured, but we have also received all the freedom that is to be found in Jesus and His finished work—freedom from condemnation, freedom from sickness, freedom from poverty and freedom from worry and fear. As you celebrate Independence Day with your friends and family, remember also to celebrate Jesus and to walk in the gift of freedom that He died to give you. Because the Son has set you free...you are free indeed
