Now the bobbin is much fuller. Two ply of Norwegian gray wool. Now - question. Or rather, several questions. 1 - if I were to dye yarn of this color with say, a red or a blue, what would the outcome look like? Dark red or blue? Mud? Bright pink with sparkles? 2 - if I were going to dye this yarn, when should I dye it? Before I set the twist in a bath? After the twist set? 3 - if I were to dye a test batch, how much would you, the experienced dyers Amon us, suggest as a minimum amount to dye for the sample? 4 - I have two pounds of this wool. Pictured is less than half a pound. Should I wait until I have all of the yarn spun and dye it all at once in some large magical vat? Or will doing the same thing multiple times produce the same results with different batches? I think that is all of my questions. Thank you!
