Now then.... does anyone have any ideas about my series 3 1.3 hl. It was running badly and my garage have adjusted the mixture and timing..... she now runs better. However getting her running in the first place can be a challenge; From cold she just seems to crank over and over and not fire..... i have tried with choke, without and also using the throttle instead, and nothing seems to work. Then as soon as the battery starts to drain and i put jump leads on, she starts and runs like a new car. If i let her run for a minute and then turn her off.... she will re start perfectly with no jump leads. I have tried easy start and it makes no difference. She has an ebay special electronic distributor. Has anyone else any ideas, or had similar problems?
