Now this I like! Louie Gohmert is a former federal judge that left the bench because he was sick and tired of the stupid games being played in Washington. He would make an excellent Speaker of the House. His time as a Judge combined with his character makes him an excellent candidate. Others have been wishing for a Trey Gowdey Speakership, but honestly, I think Trey Gowdey would be better off chairing the committee he currently sits on. Gowdeys time litigating cases as a prosecutor in a courtroom comes out when he questions those that go before his committee, fearlessly going after those that have betrayed the publics trust. Gowdeys talents are better suited for the position he currently holds. Honestly, I think Louie Gohmert would make an excellent Supreme Court Judge, but that isnt even remotely possible right now, but Speaker of the House? You betcha!
