Now to say I am not getting any younger is an understatement right now. I have lived the life of a teenager for the past 7 days with festivals, drinking, dancing, glamping (posh word for slumming it), sunburn (yes even with factor 30!) no sleep, sporting events, cheering, more drinking, little sleep, walking miles, eating crap, more drinking..........and now I feel like I am 70, my body looks like its 70. However I went with great company, met some great people, sat with the press and defo acted like tthe paparazzi, saw royalty, met athletes, saw music and sporting legends and generally had a week I will never forget. Thankyou Georgina Billson for persuading us all to go and thankyou Alex Billson for using some precious annual leave to join us, it was all so worth it. For all those who are interested I will place photos in an album the legends include Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Zombies, Michael Johnston, David Weir, Royalty is known already, but the most delightful personality was John Lane (Decathlon) who came over to meet us after his epic Pole Vault event. Ps I will not be in work tomorrow!!! Recovering!!!!!
