Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all - TopicsExpress

Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto HIM be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 I’m posting an update before I journey home from work today and praising Jesus for His goodness, grace and unending mercy. I never cease to be amazed at how HE works out the details! Can I get an “Amen”?!!!! The hospital called this morning and scheduled the MRI for Chris, to be done under anesthesia. The earliest appointment was for Friday, September 26. Arrangements were made and confirmed. To be completely honest, I am uneasy with this procedure. Going from a non-invasive procedure to being put to sleep, which could result in multiple, serious complications (stroke, heart attack, death) and the recovery from anesthesia. I had a phone call from a friend and during that conversation she mentioned stand-up MRI imaging. She didn’t know much about it but knew someone that had recently undergone the procedure. I believe that this lady was used as an angel of God this morning. I called Premier Radiology and they didn’t have the technology. Not to be outdone, I went to bing and typed in “stand-up MRI imaging” and the name of a business that manufactures the equipment came up, along with information. I called them and inquired as to if their equipment was anywhere in the service area of Tennessee. The sweet lady said, “We only have one in Tennessee, it is in Nashville”! She proceeded to give me the contact name and information of the center. I called our doctors office and passed along the information. They too were unfamiliar with such technology. A call soon came back to me from the doctor’s office that insurance did not cover this procedure, that we could go self-pay and she gave me the price. Friends, there is no price on the value of life and the safety of a medical procedure!!!! At 4:15 p.m. this afternoon I got the call from the imaging center. They confirmed the price with me and that we would be required to pay before the procedure, and proceeded to set the time and date. I hung up the phone, with a smile in my heart, a lump in my throat and tears lodged in my eyes – GOD HAS ANSWERED OUR PRAYER for a safe MRI so that we can get a diagnosis on the source of the pain and how to advance to eliminate the pain. Chris had two strokes, the second and most severe being on Friday, September 26th, twelve (12) years ago. Friday, September 26th, Chris will undergo a non-invasive MRI and NOT one where he has to be put under anesthesia. God said: Reka, Look up! Im still God. Im still on the throne. My power is not diminished; I’m in control of the details.” Continued prayers coveted . . .
